EV Chargepoint Grant for landlords
£500 per socket for residential landlords, social housing providers and property managers installing EV chargers, across up to 200 sockets. Eligibility and how to apply.
What is this grant?
This part of the EV Chargepoint Grant supports landlords and property managers installing chargepoints across rented residential properties. It’s worth £500 per socket and can be claimed for up to 200 sockets across an applicant’s sites. It is funded until at least 31 March 2027.
Who is eligible?
The grant is open to:
- Residential landlords
- Social housing providers
- Property managers
- Public sector organisations
Work must be carried out by an OZEV-authorised installer.
How to apply
You don’t claim this yourself. An OZEV-authorised installer applies for the grant on your behalf and deducts it from the bill. Because the cap covers up to 200 sockets, it’s worth planning installations across a portfolio with an installer who can handle the authorised-installer side at scale.
Evova is an independent directory and knowledge hub. We do not administer or claim grants, and we are not an installer. Grants are claimed for you by an OZEV-authorised installer, and you can find one in our directory.
Grant amounts and rules are set by the government and can change. Always confirm the current terms on the GOV.UK source before you commit.
