Switching to an electric car should be exciting, but working out how to charge it at home or at work often isn't. It's hard to know who's properly qualified, which charger suits you, what grants you can claim, or whether a quote is fair. We started Evova to bring all of that into one independent place.

We're a directory and knowledge hub, not an installer. We're not electricians, we don't carry out, design or survey any work, and we don't sell chargers or administer grants. What we do is help you make sense of the market across the UK through four things that work together: a directory of EV charger installers you can browse and filter by area, work type and accreditations; a guide to the chargers themselves so you can compare the hardware; a plain-English rundown of the grants and funding available, with links to the official government sources; and a knowledge hub of honest guides. When you've found an installer you like, you can request a free, no-obligation quote, which is then shared with that one installer.

Our directory is open, so listing on Evova isn't an endorsement. The installers that carry our Evova Verified badge are the subset whose credentials, insurance and accreditations we've actually checked. We can't independently check every business, so any other accreditations are shown as stated by the installer. Because we're independent and don't take sides between brands or installers, the comparisons and advice are about what's right for you, not about making a sale.
