Frequently asked questions

Where in the UK do you cover?
Evova is a UK-wide directory of EV charger installers. We're already live in a growing set of areas, including towns across Kent such as Maidstone, Canterbury, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells and Medway, and expanding fast. Browse the directory and filter by your town to see installers who cover where you live.
How much does a home EV charger cost?
A standard 7kW smart home charger typically costs from around £800–£1,200 fitted, depending on the charger you choose and the cable run. Compare installers in the directory and request a free quote. The installer gives a clear fixed price up front, with no hidden extras.
How do I know an installer is any good?
Look for the Evova Verified badge. Those installers have had key credentials checked by us as part of our verification tier. Every listing also shows the installer's own stated accreditations (such as NICEIC, NAPIT or OZEV approval, as provided by the installer and not independently checked unless verified) and the areas they cover, so you can compare. We always recommend confirming details before you book.
How much does it cost to use Evova?
Nothing. Browsing the directory, comparing installers and requesting a quote is completely free, with no obligation to go ahead. When you request a quote we pass your enquiry to one installer. Evova is paid by its installer network, not by you.
